‘THAT GIRL’ morning routine

A morning routine is quite simply what it says. It’s a set of habits or emotions that you go through when you wake up. It helps to set your day up in the right way and can have some drastic effects on your focus and productivity. You could do anything from exercising and journaling to reading and meditating.

It was too hard for me to wake up this early at first but some things helped. One of the most important is the app I use every morning which contains my whole morning routine and then as soon as I get up I turn it on and follow the steps I set for myself every morning. You can find a lot of apps that can make it easier for you. These are steps every productive person should have in their morning routine:

1.) Wake Up Calmly

Are you jarred awake by your alarm each morning?

Using a blaring alarm to wake you up out of your slumber really isn’t the best option for starting your day off right. Easing into your morning routine is a much better way to kick off your day. And it’s not that difficult to accomplish. Instead of setting a loud alarm to wake you up each day, consider calmer methods of waking that may be more peaceful.

Calming music or nature sounds that slowly rise in volume can help you wake up without the jolt that comes along with a standard alarm.

2.) Make your bed.

If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day,″ he said. “It will give you a small sense of pride, and it will encourage you to do another task, and another, and another. … He added that making your bed helps to reinforce the importance of life’s finer details.

3.) Do your skincare, makeup…

Your morning skincare routine enables you to prepare your skin for the day ahead and helps to remove any leftover products which you applied the night before that may have an impact on your makeup application. The morning routine is all about protection from the sun, pollution and the elements.

4.) Eat breakfast and drink water.

Breakfast is often called ‘the most important meal of the dday and for good reason. As the name suggests, breakfast breaks the overnight fasting period.

5.) Start your day with exercise.

I am not saying that you must go for a run or do a 1-hour workout, just do some stretching, I for example do back exercise for 5 minutes for better posture.

6.) Meditate

Morning meditation is one of the healthiest ways to start your day. The benefits of morning meditation can include a mood boost, improved focus and productivity, and lower levels of stress and anxiety later in the day.

7.) Make a plan for your day.

It allows you to clearly separate the time you spend working and the time you have for everything else (this is essentially important if you work from home, these lines tend to get a little blurry)

8.) Visualizations and Affirmations

Through affirmation and meditation, you can work to change your previous beliefs by repeating and visualizing a word, phrase… The power of positive thinking is strong.
