”that girl” habits for 2022

We are all familiar with a lot of toxicity as far as that girl on TikTok and other social networks is concerned. Of course, every day is not perfect and not everything goes according to plan. Nothing is as perfect as it is presented on social media, so let’s in 2022 become a healthy girl version, with better habits, a healthier lifestyle and more self-confidence.

1.) Wake up when it suits you

For many of us, the time we wake up depends almost entirely on when we need to be at work, school or elsewhere.  This often means waking up as late as possible to maximize sleep time, with the only goal being to make it out of the door on time to avoid being late for wherever we need to be first thing. The quality of your sleep the night before directly impacts your ability to perform the next day and, indeed, your ability to enjoy your day. Some people like to get up at 5 or even 4 in the morning, while others like to sleep until 9-10, although our obligations limit us, we can get up much earlier before going to school/work and we can get up half an hour before and then be ready. Honestly, I tried waking up at 4 and it didn’t suit me however getting up at 6 is perfect. I have to be at school early so I get to make breakfast, get ready and do the rest of the morning routine.

2.) Focus on yourself.

I want to focus on me and what makes me happy in 2022. I don’t want to people please, be in one sided friendships or chase people. I wanna attract positivity, abundance and love for myself and YOU SHOULD TOO. For me especially this year will be important for my future, it all depends on what my habits will be, learning and most of all on my mindset. I believe that many of you have a similar situation, so it would be important to dedicate yourself to your progress, success and health.

“The only one you should compare yourself to is you. Your mission is to become better today than you were yesterday. You do that by focusing on what you can do today to improve and grow.”

– John Maxwell.

3.) Self care days

Self care is so important in our that girl journey. It is something that helps with our mental health as it is a little pamper moment for us. Start small with one consistent ritual. Whether it be once a month, once a week, every other day.

For example, I always take at least 4 hours for myself on Saturdays, fixing my nails, putting on a face mask, taking a bath, watching a series …
It is a very important day for me once a week and I plan to keep that habit next year as well.

4.) Affirmation

Positive affirmations have helped me gain confidence and fearlessness throughout my journey so far. Write them down, say them to yourself in the mirror. I started with something small, I told myself in the mirror. Although I have rarely said them lately, I will try to include them in my daily routine on a daily basis.

“Never say never because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.”

– Michael Jordan.

5.) Eating healthy

Cooking is always especially difficult for me and I am very bad at it, although I have to eat healthy and I have big problems with all this, so I plan to learn how to cook healthy recipes.

6.) Use a diary to get organised

Finding the time to get things in order can feel like a headache. Luckily, you can take some of the legwork out of organisation with a diary that keeps on top of everything. All you need to do is fill in the relevant dates and appointments as you go, and keep referring to it each day to be sure you’re on top of everything.

“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

– George Bernard Shaw.
