What is visualization?
Visualization is simply a mental rehearsal. You create images in your mind of having or doing whatever it is that you want. You then repeat these images over and over again, daily for about five minutes a day.
Some people can visualize clear images in their mind, while others can visualize only blurred images. Some find it easier to see visualise images, while others find it easier to imagine, sounds, smells or tastes. Actually, everyone can improve the ability to imagine clear images. This is done through mental training

Know what you want
The world offers so many opportunities and choices to make that it’s not easy to know what you want. Sometimes, you may confuse what you want with what others want of you. To figure out what you actually want, you will need to do some soul searching and decision making.
Questions to Ask Yourself to Determine What You REALLY Want
- Ask Yourself: Why Do I Want this Outcome?
- Ask Yourself: What Do I Gain by Getting It?
- Ask Yourself: What Do I Lose by Getting It?
- Ask Yourself: What If I Did Nothing?
- Ask Yourself: What If I Succeed?
Describe your vision in detail.
You can write this down in detail or you could create a vision board. This will help you to create a clear and full picture of what your life would look like. I personally love to make vision boards and it helps me remind myself every day to do my best for the life that I want. Go and find pictures on Pinterest or somewhere else and print them or write about your dream life and remind yourself on daily basis. That’s how you motivate yourself.
Take daily actions.
The life you want to create won’t happen in one day but will eventuate in a series of days and actions of working towards your goal. This is something I have struggled with a lot in the past. And on some days I still do. Staying consistent some days can be very difficult, but if you want to achieve what is on your mind, you will find the strength to do so.
“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”
